Description

Participants will receive a high-level overview of how State Tech is shaping the next generation of industry leaders. We will examine a curriculum designed to meet the rigorous demands of modern parks and recreation departments, discuss the pipeline of internship-ready talent, and explore the diverse expertise graduates bring to the workforce. The session concludes with an exclusive tour of the Turf & Grounds Center, a specialized facility dedicated to advanced management practices. The Commercial Turf & Grounds Management program at State Tech, located in Linn, MO, prepares students for rewarding careers maintaining and managing the outdoor spaces where people play, work, and gather. From golf courses and athletic fields to parks, campuses, landscape companies, and commercial grounds, students gain hands-on experience in turf science, landscape management, and equipment operation using state-of-the-art technology and industry-standard tools. 11:00 a.m. – Presentation/Tour 

12:00 p.m. – Lunch 

1:00 p.m. – Duckpin Bowling for 1 hour
