Region 3 Lunch & Learn January 2024

Region 3 is offering a Lunch and Learn on January 11 with an education session titled "Behavior Management."

Take charge of how you manage behaviors in your childcare programs by exploring effective strategies for teaching desired behaviors and expectations. Learn to understand the behavior, determine the cause, how you react, and teach strategies to improve the environment. We will also look at using a behavior matrix to set routines and positive phrasing to teach positive behaviors. We will review our current intensity levels chart to learn appropriate responses to negative behaviors.

Lunch will be provided after the session with a region meeting. After lunch we will discuss everyone's policies and procedures... the good, the bad, and the ugly. Bring your documents and ideas!
