MPRA is excited that you are considering becoming a member of the Missouri Park and Recreation Association. 

The membership structure encourages engagement with as many parks and recreation professionals as possible throughout the state and allows for direct contact with volunteer leaders and enhanced diversity in the association’s work. It focuses on member ROI - there are benefits available for every member!

All 2024 MPRA memberships will expire on 12/31/2024.

Corporate Memberships are for
     • For-profit corporations, businesses, partnerships, and firms that support and encourage the purposes of the Association.

Up to five employees can be added to a corporate membership.



Agency Memberships are for
     • Any public agency on the municipal, county, or state level providing parks and recreation services.

An agency membership shall be based on the total number of full-time employees working in the parks and recreation department. Up to nine board members can be added to your membership at no additional charge.



Organization Memberships are for
     • Academic institutions
     • Military installations or hospitals
     • Non-profit agencies and other organizations providing parks, recreation, and leisure services.

Up to five employees can be added to an organization's membership.


Individual Professional memberships are for

• Full-time employees of a local, county, or state parks and recreation agency holding a bachelor's degree from an
       accredited college or university or possess a professional certification.

This membership type is limited to three employees of the same agency.



Associate Memberships are for individuals
     • Employed part-time OR
     • Retired from the parks and recreation field

Benefits include, but are not limited to, region and section affiliation, discounts on registration, and access to MPRA publications and directories.


Student memberhships are for
     • Individuals pursuing a degree in parks and recreation or a related field.

Individuals who qualify for any other membership type are not eligible for a student membership.
