Full Time Maintenance Worker I 

Platte County Parks and Recreation is accepting applications for a Full Time Maintenance Worker I position. Position will provide weekday and occasional weekend coverage. The Full Time Maintenance Worker I position will conduct maintenance activities such as equipment and vehicle operation, equipment and tool repair, sports field maintenance, mowing/line trimming, daily restroom maintenance, trail maintenance, performing various inspections, litter and debris removal and interact with the public and staff. Applicant must be outgoing and feel comfortable interacting with park users, possess a valid driver’s license and a high school diploma or GED. As stated, this position will be required to work some weekend shifts, generally in the morning and/or afternoon/evenings for a few hours. Experience in park maintenance is not necessary but preferred. We will train the right person. Starting pay is $40,000-$45,000/yr.
