Starting Salary Range:         $63,259.93 - $71,886.18 DOQ

The City of Brentwood is currently recruiting for the position of Recreation Supervisor – Ice Rink.  The purpose of this position is to manage the daily operations of the City of Brentwood Ice Rink and Memorial Park Inline Rink. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

-  Manage daily operations of the City of Brentwood Ice Rink and Memorial Park Inline Rink.

-  Plan, coordinate, market and evaluate ice rink programs for the department; coordinate statistical reports relating to program enrollments and              finances.

- Interview, hire, train, schedule, supervise and evaluate Full-Time Recreation Specialist, and part-time staff including skating instructors, skate      

   guards, hockey officials and scorekeepers.

- Coordinate all facility reservations and formalize and monitor user agreements with outside agencies for use of the ice rink.

- Assist with the maintenance of ice condition which includes edging, resurfacing and painting the ice surface.

Minimum education/Experience Requirements: 

- Bachelor’s Degree in Parks & Recreation Administration or closely related field from an accredited institution or equivalent experience and           

  education.

- Minimum three-years experience in Parks & Recreation, programming and facility management.

- Certification in American Red Cross CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider and First Aid required within three months of employment.

Preferred Qualifications

- Certified Parks and Recreation Professional (CPRP), preferred

- Ice Maintenance & Equipment Operation (IMEO) certification, preferred
