The City of Clayton Parks and Recreation-Parks Department is seeking applicants for the Horticulturalist position.

The Horticulturalist position oversees the design, installation and maintenance of all green spaces and landscaped areas in City of Clayton Parks and Recreation Facilities.

Required Qualifications of the Horticulturalist Position:

• Associate's degree in Horticulture or closely related field
• Three (3) year previous supervisory work experience 
• State of Missouri Pesticide Applicator license required within six (6) months of employment
• Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or ability to obtain such within six (6) months of hire.

Successful candidates for the position will be required to successfully complete additional screening including, but not limited to the following: Background investigation, driver license check, DOT driving records check, employment and reference checks, pre-employment physical and drug screening.
