This high-visibility position plays a key role in shaping the City’s cultural identity and tourism appeal by managing and promoting major events and festivals at Linden Square, as well as city-wide special events and programming under Parks, Recreation & Cultural Arts. The position emphasizes strategic event planning, robust marketing, and community engagement to support the City’s tourism, branding, and economic development goals. The Recreation Specialist will coordinate all aspects of marketing and execution for high-impact events and serve as a vital contributor to the planning and promotion of future event center activities. This position reports to the Recreation Superintendent.
