About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented researcher to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for collecting data from a variety of sources and synthesizing that data into various report formats for the consulting team. Your analysis will span demographics, markets, participation trends, financials, and internal operations, helping the consulting team guide their clients.
Please note, this is not a client facing role. This is a part time, fully remote position. Estimated 20-30 hours per week, with the majority of hours during regular business hours. We are looking to fill this position with someone from Missouri, Colorado, or Texas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Demographic Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of population trends, age distributions, and community needs to identify target markets and service gaps.
- Market Reports: Develop and maintain reports on market trends, customer behavior, industry shifts, and competitive landscapes.
- Participation Analysis: Evaluate program and service participation rates to identify patterns, forecast demand, and inform program development or adjustments.
- Benchmarking: Compare organizational metrics against industry standards and peer organizations.
- Budget Analysis: Review and interpret budget data to assess financial performance.
- Staffing Analysis: Analyze staffing levels.
- Other Research as Needed
Requirements
Required Skills:
- Familiarity with financial modeling and workforce planning.
- Office Suite
- In Depth/Advanced Excel Knowledge (Macros, Pivot Tables, etc.)
- Proficient Communication (e-mail, phone, in person)
- Robust Analytical Skills
- Competent Researcher
- Budget Interpretation Skills
- Ability to locate information from a variety of data sources in a meaningful way on a project-by-project basis.
- Develop graphics and info graphics from data sources
- Analytic
Preferred Skills:
- Adobe Software
- ESRI Products
- Knowledge of GIS or mapping tools for demographic insights.
What We Offer:
- Part-time, remote position.

- Hourly rate of $25-$45/hour commensurate with experience.
